Joerns | DermaFloat APL Mattress System | Advanced Low Air Loss Therapy for Pressure Ulcer Prevention and Wound Care
The Joerns DermaFloat® APL is a cutting-edge alternating pressure mattress designed to enhance wound healing and prevent pressure ulcers, available exclusively through Alto Med Supply.
This innovative therapy system uses alternating pressure between adjacent air cells to improve blood circulation and evenly redistribute pressure, making it an essential solution for patients at risk of developing pressure injuries, including stage 1 through 4 ulcers, burns, neurological conditions, and post-amputation care.
Additionally, the DermaFloat APL incorporates an integrated low air loss therapy system that delivers up to 40 liters of airflow per minute, helping to maintain skin integrity by reducing moisture and heat buildup.
Featuring 20 individual air cells for optimal weight distribution, the mattress’s low shear and low friction therapy pad is treated with antibacterial and antifungal agents, ensuring a clean and safe environment for sensitive skin.
The inclusion of CairRails side air bolsters provides added risk management, while the Fowler Boost feature inflates the sacral section to enhance pressure relief when the head of the bed is elevated beyond 30 degrees.
With three customizable alternating pressure cycles, eight comfort control settings, an automatic panel lockout to prevent accidental adjustments, and an audible power failure alarm, the DermaFloat APL combines advanced technology with user-friendly design.
Its lightweight, roll-up construction offers portability and easy storage for healthcare providers.
Alto Med Supply proudly offers the Joerns DermaFloat® APL as a trusted solution for pressure redistribution therapy, supporting patients through rehabilitation, pain management, and chronic condition care including arthritis, oncology, and dermatology.
