Arjo | Bariatric Loop Repositioning Sling | Safe In-Bed Transfers & Pressure Injury Prevention
The Arjo Bariatric Loop Repositioning Sling, offered by Alto Med Supply, is designed to support caregivers when repositioning or laterally transferring plus-size patients who require full assistance.
Its generous dimensions are engineered to fit Arjo bariatric beds and provide full-body support for patients positioned supine, helping caregivers move individuals safely from one flat surface to another.
Caring for plus-size patients often presents unique challenges in hospitals and long-term care settings, where larger patient populations place increasing demands on staff and equipment.
Patients who cannot adjust their own position need regular repositioning to help reduce pressure on vulnerable areas and support essential daily care.
Without the right equipment, these tasks can place significant physical strain on caregivers and increase the risk of skin shear, friction, and potential pressure-related issues for patients.
This bariatric repositioning sling is intended for assisted in-bed repositioning and controlled lateral transfers using compatible Arjo lift systems.
It can be used with Arjo ceiling lifts for surface-to-surface transfers and with Arjo ceiling or passive floor lifts for repositioning within the bed.
By offering stable support and smoother movement, the sling promotes patient comfort while helping caregivers maintain safe, efficient workflows.
For proper and safe use, the Arjo Bariatric Loop Repositioning Sling must be paired only with Arjo passive lift systems featuring loop attachments, following the allowed combinations provided in the manufacturer’s Instructions for Use.
Alto Med Supply is committed to offering dependable solutions that help caregivers deliver effective bariatric care with confidence and reduced physical strain.
