Arjo | Loop Comfort Repositioning Sling | Safe Bed Transfers & Seamless Patient Support
The Arjo Loop Comfort Repositioning Sling, available at Alto Med Supply, is designed to help caregivers safely reposition patients who require full assistance.
This versatile sling supports common in-bed movements such as turning to and from the prone position, lateral transfers between flat surfaces, and lifting from the floor.
Its single-layer, seamless construction also allows it to function as standard bed linen, and it may remain under the patient between transfers when clinically appropriate, helping streamline care without compromising comfort.
Regular repositioning provides important clinical benefits, including reducing pressure on vulnerable areas, supporting healthy ventilation, aiding secretion management, and improving overall mobility and well-being.
By combining a repositioning sling with everyday bedding, the Loop Comfort Sling helps reduce shear and friction while making transfers more efficient and less physically demanding for caregivers.
This sling is intended for patients who are highly or totally dependent and cannot contribute to their own repositioning.
It is suitable for a range of tasks, including lateral transfers, in-bed repositioning, prone turning, lifting from the floor, and placing or removing X-ray plates.
Independent testing shows the sling does not interfere with commonly used support surfaces, helping caregivers make informed decisions about leaving the sling under the patient between transfers.
Color-coded strap indicators identify both sling size and strap locations, while all stitching is positioned at the bed’s edge to provide a smooth, seam-free surface under the patient.
For safe use, the Loop Comfort Repositioning Sling must be paired only with Arjo passive lift systems using loop attachments, following the manufacturer’s Instructions for Use.
