The Accuris SmartReader™ Multimode is a versatile, high-performance microplate reader designed to meet the demanding needs of modern life science and biomedical research laboratories.
Available now at Alto Med Supply, this all-in-one instrument supports a wide range of applications including UV-visible absorbance, fluorescence, and luminescence detection ideal for ELISA, DNA/RNA analysis, enzyme kinetics, and more.
Featuring a large 10-inch color touchscreen and intuitive interface, the SmartReader Multimode operates as a stand-alone system, eliminating the need for an external computer.
For enhanced control and data management, optional SmartReader PC software is available, including a 21 CFR Part 11 compliant version for regulated lab environments.
The system is compatible with 6 to 384 well plates and includes a built-in incubator with top heating (ambient +4°C to 45°C) to reduce condensation, plus a multi-mode plate shaker.
Its advanced optical system includes a monochromator for user-selectable wavelengths (200–1000 nm), a PMT detector for sensitive luminescence assays, and filter modules with barcoded identification for precise fluorescence measurements.
The SmartReader processes a full 96-well plate in under 15 seconds, and kinetic assays can be visualized in real time.
Optional modules, including automatic injectors for flash luminescence and the SmartDrop™ plate for fast UV absorbance of up to 16 micro-volume samples, further expand functionality.
Data export is seamless via USB, FTP, or directly to a PC using the optional software, with support for .XLS and .CSV file formats.
