The Joerns P.R.O. Matt® Plus, available at Alto Med Supply, is an advanced non-powered mattress replacement system designed for pressure injury prevention and treatment.

Featuring Joerns’ proprietary Pressure Redistribution Optimization (P.R.O.) Technology, this mattress automatically adjusts to each patient’s weight and body profile without requiring manual inflation or caregiver intervention.

Its internal four-zone air/foam core—covering the head, shoulder, torso, and foot—works in harmony to deliver consistent pressure redistribution and enhanced patient comfort.

This therapeutic support surface includes a one-inch viscoelastic foam topper to improve immersion and reduce shear forces, while the optional firm sidewalls provide added patient safety by minimizing gaps near siderails.

The fluid-resistant, stain-resistant cover is antimicrobial, low-friction, and low-shear—ideal for protecting sensitive skin and maintaining hygiene in care environments.

A non-skid, tear-resistant bottom keeps the mattress securely in place to help prevent falls.

In its standard non-powered mode, the P.R.O. Matt Plus replicates the performance of a low air loss system, making it suitable for patients at risk of Stage 1 or 2 pressure injuries, and for the treatment of uncomplicated Stage 3 or 4 wounds when multiple turning surfaces are available.

The mattress automatically reinflates its internal air cells after each use, ensuring it remains ready without requiring a power source.

For more advanced care needs, the mattress can be upgraded with one of two optional control units.

The P.R.O. Technology® Control Unit adds powered immersion and alternating pressure therapy, offering three therapeutic modes—Autofirm, Static, and Alternate—with customizable cycle times (5, 10, 15, or 20 minutes).

This control unit features five pressure settings to promote healing, along with a low-pressure alarm and auto-lockout for added safety.

An alternative CBC Basic Control Unit is also available, providing adjustable alternating pressure with a simple interface and LED alerts.

Warranty

This product comes with a 2-year manufacturer’s warranty on parts and a 1-year warranty on the cover and control unit.

Important Notes

The warranty applies only to the original purchaser of a new product.

It does not cover:

• Normal wear and tear
  
• Damage due to misuse, alteration, tampering, negligence, accidents, lack of maintenance, unauthorized repair, or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of the manufacturer. 

If you have any faults with your items, contact us and we'll help to resolve any issues.

Conditions: Warranty is void if the product is altered, misused, or repaired by unauthorized personnel. Damage from improper maintenance or unsuitable environmental conditions is also excluded.

Important: Product Inspection Upon Delivery

Please inspect all items carefully for any damage that may have occurred during shipping immediately after unpacking and report within 24 hours of receiving the product.

Here are a few important points to note:

• You have the right to return your order within 10 calendar days of receiving the goods. Beyond this period, we regret that returns cannot be accepted.
