The Solution Based ShowerGlyde Sliding Transfer Bench offers a safe and versatile solution for assisted bathing.
Available in two models, SG1 and SG2, these sliding transfer benches are designed to improve accessibility and support users up to 330 lbs.
The SG1 model is ideal for tubs with no obstructions nearby, such as vanities or toilets.
It glides smoothly over the tub and locks at two points inside and outside providing stability during transfers.
The unit can be assembled as left or right-hand, and includes a grab bar on the wall side to assist with sliding.
Its height is adjustable for tubs up to 19.5”, and optional extension legs are available for taller tub lips up to 25”.
The seat comes with three options: an open commode seat for easy cleaning, a reducer ring, and a solid seat insert, and a seatbelt is included for added safety.
The SG1 weighs 23.2 lbs.
The SG2 model is designed for tubs with an adjacent toilet, featuring a longer rail system that allows the commode seat to extend over the toilet for added convenience.
Like SG1, it is height adjustable, can be assembled left or right-hand, and includes a wall-side grab bar.
The seat options and safety belt are identical, ensuring comfort and secure transfers. The SG2 weighs 26.5 lbs, accommodating users up to 330 lbs.

Warranty
The Solution Based ShowerGlyde Sliding Transfer Bench come with a lifetime warranty on the frame and a one year warranty on all other parts.
Important Notes
The warranty applies only to the original purchaser of a new product.
It does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear
- Damage due to misuse, alteration, tampering, negligence, accidents, lack of maintenance, unauthorized repair, or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of the manufacturer.
If you have any faults with your items, contact us and we'll help to resolve any issues.
Conditions: Warranty is void if the product is altered, misused, or repaired by unauthorized personnel. Damage from improper maintenance or unsuitable environmental conditions is also excluded.
Important: Product Inspection Upon Delivery
Please inspect all items carefully for any damage that may have occurred during shipping immediately after unpacking and report within 24 hours of receiving the product.
Returns
We at Alto Med Supply are committed to ensuring you are delighted with every purchase. However, if you need to make a return, please reach out to us at support@altomedsupply.com, and we'll guide you through the return process.
Here are a few important points to note:
- Open box sales are final — no returns (i.e. once opened, we don’t accept return)
- If your box is unopened, you can return your order within 30 calendar days of receiving the goods. Beyond this period, we regret that returns cannot be accepted.
- Products must be returned unopened, unused, and in their original packaging.
- Return shipping costs and 20% restocking fee apply.
- Bespoke items cannot be returned unless damaged or faulty.
